Welcome to Suncrest Park

Keys and Stickers are picked up end of April

Suncrest Park is a non-profit private park for qualified members and their families. It has 400 yearly memberships and is located at 13543 W. Shore Road in Nine Mile Falls, Washington. It consists of 24 acres of waterfront, 42 acres of greenbelts, and 29 acres of bridle trails.

-We have had many increases in the park from water, treating the lawn and utilities. We have been frugal in our spending the last couple of years. The Park Board are going to complete a couple of projects. The Park is currently pretty much breaking even at the end of each year.

MEMBERSHIP UPDATE: The Park had a few problems in this arena again this year. We had numerous members who chose to give a sticker to a friend and others who tried to borrow keys and stickers to gain access to the park. The results of these actions resulted in that person being barred permanently from the park. We take these actions very serious. It is actually one theft and two trespassing when this happens. If this trend continues, the park is willing to press charges. The bottom line is please do not pass your keys or a sticker to whom they do not belong. We have a zero tolerance in this area.

-The park will not accept any membership applications prior to 1 February. Any application received with a post-mark prior to 1 February will not be processed and will have to be resubmitted. The application on line has been taken down and will be placed back up in time to do this. Please help out in this area.

-The times remain the same; Class “A” 1 March through end of March. New Class “A” members 1 April through end of April and Class “B”

- No renters will be allowed this year. The by-laws do not allow this (though exceptions have been agreed upon in the past, when membership was less than full. This change should only impact around four of the memberships.

GENERAL COMMENTS: The members of the Board work hard to ensure a safe and fun environment for all members and their quest. Our goal is to be transparent and great stewards over all that the park offers with its membership. You have an outstanding board of nine members from the community. Remember they are volunteers not paid employees, except for Fred who is a paid caretaker for the park.

-Please do not wait to send in your applications. When it opens in February be prompt as some people have not been able to get in. We only allow 400 members each year. This number is to protect the park and allow us to keep it looking like a park rather than a parking lot.

-Please remember that when you have guest at the park, you are to meet them at the gate and remain with them inside of the park. This is an area we seem to get the most push back is from some of the members and their guest. The guest is an extension of you. When they act out and damage the park or become disorderly it could impact your membership.

-I know rules can become a pain, but rules keep our park running smooth and protect each and everyone one of us.

-The board remains commited to the park and to its members! We welcome anyone who wants to attend monthly meetings and hope that 2024 brings great pleasure in the park and boating.
